Herta Gatter is a senior urban development consultant and community-led housing advocate, dedicated to shaping inclusive, sustainable, and socially valuable places. With a background in urban design and town planning, Herta combines technical knowledge with a deep sensitivity to the lived experiences of local communities. Her work spans masterplanning, visioning, and social value strategies—always rooted in meaningful stakeholder engagement and rigorous analysis.
Herta is especially skilled at weaving together ideas, people, and projects to create place-based strategies that support integration, local identity, and long-term impact. A co-founder of the CASH Community Benefit Society, Herta also plays an active role in championing community ownership and alternative models of development.
